What is Joi?
Joi is event planning and scheduling software for conferences, festivals and corporate events. Event teams build their program once in Joi, then publish it to an event website and an event app, and manage speakers, performers, sponsors, schedules, tasks and budgets in the same place, with unlimited users.

Because everything comes from one program, a change made in Joi flows through to the website, the event app, schedules and briefing notes automatically, instead of being re-typed into spreadsheets and documents.

Who uses Joi?
Joi is built for the people who plan and run events:
- Conference and festival organisers building multi-day, multi-stage programs
- Event agencies and freelance event managers running events for clients
- Corporate event teams planning internal events, incentives and training days
- Production teams who need run of show, schedules and asset lists
It works for small events as well as large ones. Pricing is per active event, not per user, so a one-day workshop costs the same to run in Joi as a three-day festival.
What does Joi do?
Program builder
Build the event program by day and location, drag and drop sessions across times, days and rooms, and let Joi recalculate the times automatically. Collect session and speaker details through webforms.
More about the program builder
Planning tools
Collect speaker, performer, sponsor and vendor information through webpages, assign tasks with automated reminders, and build schedules, run of show, facilitator notes and production lists you can share as always-up-to-date webpages.
Event website
Publish the program as a branded, mobile-friendly microsite, embed it in an existing website, or use the JSON feed. Update everything with one click when the program changes.
Event app
Give attendees the program in an event app, send push notifications, collect feedback and evaluations, and let people self check in. Create separate apps for different groups, such as a VIP program.
Event budgeting
Track revenue, costs and cash flow with estimates, quotes and actuals, in multiple currencies, with taxes, fees and markups. Request quotes from vendors by webform and share revenue pages with clients.
What makes Joi different?
One source of truth
The website, event app, schedules and briefs all come from the same program, so a change is made once.
Unlimited people
Add your whole team, volunteers and suppliers at no extra cost, with permission levels for each person.
Priced per event
Plans are based on active events, not seats, and every plan includes every feature.
Built to share
Schedules, production lists and notes are shared as webpages, so no one works from an out-of-date version.
How much does Joi cost?
Joi is priced by the number of events you have active, not by users. Plans start at A$50 per month for up to 10 active events and get cheaper per event as you grow, down to A$2.50 per event at 500 active events. Prices are also available in USD, GBP and EUR. Every plan includes every feature, is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. See all prices
Questions about Joi
Is Joi an event app?
Joi includes an event app, but it's more than that. The app is one part of a complete event planning platform that also covers the program, the event website, planning tools, schedules and the budget. The app shows attendees the same program the team builds in Joi.
Can Joi publish my program to my existing website?
Yes. You can share the program as a link, embed it in an existing website with embed code, or take the content as a JSON feed and display it however you like. If you don't have a website, Joi can build a branded microsite for the event.
Does Joi replace spreadsheets?
For most event planning, yes. Programs, schedules, run of show, asset lists, information collection and budgets that are usually kept in separate spreadsheets live in Joi instead, linked to one program, so changes don't have to be copied between files.
Is Joi only for large events?
No. Joi is used for everything from small workshops and training days to multi-day conferences and festivals. Because pricing is per active event and not per user, smaller events can use the same tools, including the event app.
How do attendees get the Joi event app?
The Joi event app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Attendees can scan a QR code to go straight to their event, or open the app and enter the event app's name. Organisers can leave access open, add a password, or ask attendees to sign in with their name and email.
